Hadith 282
نا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " سَتَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ يَغْشَاهُمْ غَوَاشٍ، أَوْ حَوَاشٍ، مِنَ النَّاسِ يَظْلِمُونَ وَيَكْذِبُونَ، فَمَنْ أَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ وَصَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ، فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَلا أَنَا مِنْهُ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَيُعِينُهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ، فَأَنَا مِنْهُ وَهُوَ مِنِّي " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), who reports from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "Soon there will be rulers who will be surrounded by courtiers and friends from among the people; they will commit oppression and speak lies. Whoever helps them in their oppression and affirms them as truthful despite their lies, then he is not from me and I am not from him. And whoever does not affirm them in their lies and does not help them in their oppression, then he is from me and I am from him."
