Hadith 276
أنا شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَجُلا فِي جِنَازَةِ حُذَيْفَةَ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ صَاحِبَ هَذَا السَّرِيرِ، يَقُولُ : مَا بِي بَأْسٌ بِمَا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " وَلَئِنِ اقْتَتَلْتُمْ لأَدْخُلَنَّ بَيْتِي، فَلَئِنْ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ لأَقُولَنَّ أَبُوءُ بِإِثْمِي وَإِثْمِكَ " .
Rabi’ bin Hirash narrates that I heard a man at the funeral of Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) saying: I heard the one on the bier saying, “I have no objection, ever since I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: However, if you fight, I will surely enter my house, and if anyone enters upon me, I will surely say: Come and bear my sin along with your own sin.”
