Hadith 240
عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلانَ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : " ثَلاثَةٌ حَقٌّ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَوْنُهُمُ : الْمُجَاهِدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، وَالنَّاكِحُ الَّذِي يُرِيدُ الْعَفَافَ، وَالْمُكَاتَبُ الَّذِي يُرِيدُ الأَدَاءَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), who reports from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "There are three people: it is a right upon Allah to help all of them: the one who strives in the path of Allah, the one who marries seeking chastity, and the slave who has made a contract for his freedom and intends to fulfill it."
