Hadith 239
عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدَبٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : " مَنْ مَلَكَ ذَا رَحِمٍ فَهُوَ حُرٌّ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever becomes the owner of a relative, then he is free."
