Hadith 235
عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ : بَيْنَمَا نَحنُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذْ قَامَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ مِنْ بَنِي فَزَارَةَ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّ امْرَأَتِي وَلَدَتْ غُلامًا أَسْوَدَ وَهُوَ حِينَئِذٍ ذَلِكَ مُنْكِرٌ، لَمْ يَقُلْ ذَلِكَ إِلا لِيَنْتَفِيَ مِنْهُ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " هَلْ لَكَ إِبِلٌ ؟ "، قَالَ : نَعَمْ، قَالَ : " فَمَا أَلْوَانُهَا ؟ "، قَالَ : هِيَ حُمْرٌ، قَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " هَلْ فِيهَا مِنْ أَوْرَقَ ؟ "، قَالَ : نَعَمْ، فِيهَا ذُودٌ أَوْرَقُ، قَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنَّى كَانَ ذَلِكَ ؟ "، قَالَ : لا أَدْرِي إِلا أَنْ يَكُونَ نَزَعَهَا عِرْقٌ، قَالَ : " وَهَذَا لَعَلَّهُ يَكُونُ نَزَعَهُ عِرْقٌ "، فَأَبَى أَنْ يُرَخِّصَ فِي الانْتِفَاءِ مِنْهُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: While we were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), a Bedouin from Banu Fazarah came and said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Indeed, my wife has given birth to a black child, and at that time he was denying it, he only said this to disassociate himself from the (child). So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Do you have camels?” He said: Yes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “What is their color?” He said: Red. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: “Are there any among them that are brownish?” He said: Yes, there are ash-colored camels among them. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: “Where did these come from?” He said: I do not know, except that some lineage must have drawn them out. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “And perhaps some lineage has drawn out this (child) as well.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) refused to grant him permission to disassociate himself from the child.
