Hadith 224
حَدَّثَنَا جَدِّي، نَا حَبَّانُ، أَنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ الْمُعَلِّمِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ: ((لَا يَجُوزُ لِأَمْرَأَةٍ عَطِيَّةٌ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ زَوْجِهَا))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said on the day of the conquest of Makkah: "It is not permissible for any woman to give a gift except with the permission of her husband."
