Hadith 214
عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيْسَ لَنَا مَثَلُ السَّوْءِ، الرَّاجِعُ فِي هِبَتِهِ كَالْكَلْبِ فِي قَيْئِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no bad example for us. The one who takes back his gift is like a dog that returns to its vomit."
