Hadith 206
أنا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ افْتَقَدَ عَنَاقًا كَانَتْ عِنْدَهُمْ فَأَخْبَرُوهُ أَنَّهَا مَاتَتْ، فَقَالَ : " أَلا أَخَذْتُمْ إِهَابَهَا فَانْتَفَعْتُمْ بِهِ " .
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) found that a young goat which was with them was missing, so she informed him that indeed it had died. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Why did you not take its skin and benefit from it?"
