Hadith 204
أنا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : " الْحَيَّةُ فَاسِقَةٌ، وَالْعَقْرَبُ فَاسِقَةٌ، وَالْفَأْرَةُ فَاسِقَةٌ، وَالْغُرَابُ فَاسِقٌ "، قَالَ : فَقَالَ إِنْسَانٌ لِلْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ : أَيُؤْكَلُ الْغُرَابُ ؟ فَقَالَ : مَنْ يَأْكُلُهُ بَعْدَ قَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاسِقٌ .
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The snake is a transgressor, and the badger is a transgressor, and the mouse is a transgressor, and the crow is a transgressor." It is said that a man asked Qasim bin Muhammad, "Can the crow be eaten?" He replied, "After the statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), it is a transgressor. Who would eat it?"
