Hadith 203
أنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ : " رَأَوْا أَرْنَبًا، فَطَلَبُوهَا فَلَغَبُوا، فَأَدْرَكْتُهَا فَذَهَبْتُ بِهَا إِلَى أَبِي طَلْحَةَ فَذَبَحَهَا، وَبَعَثَنِي بِوَرِكِهَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَبِلَهَا " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he saw a rabbit and went out in search of it and became tired. Then I caught it and brought it to Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him). He slaughtered it and sent me with its thigh to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) accepted it.
