Hadith 194
عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْجَزَرِيِّ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ : " كُنَّا نَأْكُلُ لُحُومَ الْخَيْلِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), we used to eat the meat of horses.
