Hadith 193
أنا الأَجْلَحُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الأَصَمِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَكَلَّمَهُ بِبَعْضِ الْكَلامِ، قَالَ : مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ وَشِئْتَ، فَقَالَ : " جَعَلْتَهُ وَاللَّهِ عَدْلَيْنِ، قُلْ : مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that a man came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and spoke to him with some words and said: "Whatever Allah wills and you will." So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Have you made me equal to Allah? Say: Whatever Allah alone wills."
