Hadith 163
عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ : " أَنَّ رَجُلا مِنْ أَسْلَمَ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَحَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ قَدْ زَنَى، وَشَهِدَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ أَرْبَعَ شَهَادَاتٍ، فَأَمَرَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرُجِمَ وَكَانَ قَدْ أُحْصِنَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that indeed a man from the (tribe of) Aslam came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he informed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he had committed adultery, and he testified against himself four times. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the order regarding him, and he was stoned to death, and he was married.
