Hadith 145
عَنْ هَمَّامٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ يَهُودِيًّا رَضَّ رَأْسَ جَارِيَةٍ بَيْنَ حَجَرَيْنِ، فَسُئِلَتْ : مَنْ فَعَلَ هَذَا بِكِ ؟ فَقِيلَ : فُلانٌ، أَوْ فُلانٌ حَتَّى ذُكِرَ اسْمُ الْيَهُودِيِّ ؟ فَأَوْمَأَتْ بِرَأْسِهَا، أَيْ : نَعَمْ، فَدُعِيَ الْيَهُودِيُّ فَاعْتَرَفَ، " فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرُضَّ رَأْسُهُ بَيْنَ حَجَرَيْنِ "، أَوْ قَالَ : حِجَارَةٍ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that indeed a Jew crushed the head of a girl between two stones. She was asked, "Who did this to you?" It was said, "Was it so-and-so or so-and-so?" until the name of that Jew was mentioned, and she indicated with her head, meaning yes. So that Jew was called, and he confessed (to the crime). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered regarding him, so his head was also crushed between two stones, or he said, with a stone.
