Hadith 144
عَنْ رِشْدِينَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ أَبِي السَّمْحِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : " وَيْلٌ : وَادٍ فِي جَهَنَّمَ يَهْوِي فِيهِ الْكَافِرُ أَرْبَعِينَ خَرِيفًا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَبْلُغَ قَعْرَهُ، وَالصَّعُودُ جَبَلٌ مِنْ نَارٍ يَتَصَعَّدُ فِيهِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا، ثُمَّ يَهْوِي بِهِ كَذَلِكَ أَبَدًا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that "'Wail' is a valley in Hell; a disbeliever will keep falling in it for forty years before reaching its depth, and 'Sa'ud' is a mountain of fire; he will keep climbing it for seventy years, then will fall into the fire."
