Hadith 131
عَنْ عُمَرَ هُوَ ابْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا صَارَ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ، وَأَهْلُ النَّارِ إِلَى النَّارِ، جِيءَ بِالْمَوْتِ حَتَّى يُجْعَلَ بَيْنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ، ثُمَّ يُذْبَحَ، ثُمَّ يُنَادِي مُنَادٍ : يَا أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ، لا مَوْتَ، يَا أَهْلَ النَّارِ، لا مَوْتَ، فَيَزْدَادُ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ فَرَحًا إِلَى فَرَحِهِمْ، وَيَزْدَادُ أَهْلُ النَّارِ حُزْنًا إِلَى حُزْنِهِمْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the people of Paradise will proceed towards Paradise and the people of the Fire towards the Fire, death will be brought and placed between Paradise and the Fire, then it will be slaughtered. Then a caller will announce: O people of Paradise! (now) there is no death, O people of the Fire! (now) there is no death. So the people of Paradise will increase in their happiness towards their joy, and the people of the Fire will increase in their sorrow towards their grief."
