Hadith 129
عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنِ أَبِي الضَّحَّاكِ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ شَجَرَةً يَسِيرُ الرَّاكِبُ فِي ظِلِّهَا سَبْعِينَ، أَوْ قَالَ : مِائَةَ سَنَةٍ هِيَ شَجَرَةُ الْخُلْدِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), who reports from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, in Paradise there is a great tree such that a rider could travel in its shade for seventy—or he said, one hundred—years, and it is the tree of eternity."
