Hadith 125
عَنْ فُلَيْحِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ هِلالِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ لَيَتَرَاءَوْنَ فِي الْغُرَفِ كَمَا تَتَرَاءَوْنَ الْكَوْكَبَ الشَّرْقِيَّ أَوِ الْكَوْكَبَ الْغَرْبِيَّ الْغَارِبَ فِي الأُفُقِ أَوِ الطَّالِعَ فِي تَفَاضُلِ الدَّرَجَاتِ "، قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أُولَئِكَ النَّبِيُّونَ ؟ قَالَ : " بَلَى، وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدهِ وَأَقْوَامٌ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَصَدَّقُوا الْمُرْسَلِينَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), who reports from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, the people of Paradise will see each other in ranks of superiority from their lofty chambers, just as you see the eastern or western star that is about to set or rise on the horizon." They said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Will those only be the Prophets?" He replied, "Why not! By Him in Whose hand is my soul! And there will also be those who believed in Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and affirmed the Messengers."
