Hadith 117
عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، أَنَّ الْحَارِثَ بْنَ أُقَيْشٍ، حَدَّثَ أَبَا بَرْزَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ مِنْ أُمَّتِي لَمَنْ يَعْظُمُ لِلنَّارِ حَتَّى يَكُونَ رُكْنًا مِنْ أَرْكَانِهَا، وَإِنَّ مِنْ أُمَّتِي لَمَنْ يَشْفَعُ لأَكْثَرَ مِنْ رَبِيعَةَ، وَمُضَرَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Barzah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that indeed he heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: “Indeed, among my Ummah are some who will venerate the Fire, until they become one of its pillars, and indeed among my Ummah are also those who will intercede for more people than (the tribes of) Rabi’ah and Mudar.”
