Hadith 112
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr and Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “I will be the first to be granted permission to prostrate on the Day of Resurrection, and I will be the first to be granted permission to raise my head. I will look ahead and recognize my Ummah among the nations, and I will look to my right and recognize my Ummah among the nations, and I will look to my left and recognize my Ummah among the nations, and I will look behind me and recognize my Ummah among the nations.” A man asked, “O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! How will you recognize your Ummah among the nations, from Nuh (peace be upon him) up to your own Ummah?” He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: “Their faces, hands, and feet will be radiant due to the marks of ablution; no one else among the nations will have this, and I will recognize them. Indeed, their books of deeds will be given to them in their right hands, and I will recognize them by their foreheads due to the marks of prostration on their faces, and I will recognize them by the light that will be running before them and on their right side.”
