Hadith 84
عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : " سَبْعَةٌ يُظِلُّهُمُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِي ظِلِّهِ، يَوْمَ لا ظِلَّ إِلا ظِلُّهُ : إِمَامٌ عَادِلٌ، وَشَابٌّ نَشَأَ فِي طَاعَةِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، وَرَجُلٌ ذَكَرَ اللَّهَ فِي خَلا فَفَاضَتْ عَيْنَاهُ، وَرَجُلٌ كَانَ قَلْبُهُ مُعَلَّقٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، وَرَجُلانِ تَحَابَّا فِي اللَّهِ، وَرَجُلٌ دَعَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ ذَاتُ مَنْصِبٍ وَجَمَالٍ إِلَى نَفْسِهَا، فَقَالَ : إِنِّي أَخَافُ اللَّهَ، وَرَجُلٌ تَصَدَّقَ بِصَدقَةٍ، فَأَخْفَاهَا حَتَّى لا تَعْلَمَ شِمَالُهُ مَا صَنَعَتْ يَمِينُهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that indeed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “There are seven people whom Allah will grant shade under His (Throne’s) shade on the Day of Resurrection, the day when there will be no shade except His shade: a just ruler; and a youth who grew up in the worship of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic; and a man who remembered Allah in solitude and his eyes overflowed with tears; and a man whose heart is attached to the mosque; and two men who loved each other for the sake of Allah; and a man whom a woman of status and beauty called towards herself but he said, ‘Indeed, I fear Allah’; and a man who gave charity and concealed it so much that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given.”
