Hadith 68
عَنِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي حَبَّانُ بْنُ وَاسِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ فِي ثَلاثٍ ؟ قَالَ : " إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ "، قَالَ : فَكَانَ يَقْرؤُهُ كَذَلِكَ حَتَّى تُوُفِّيَ .
Sayyiduna Saeed bin Mundhir Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Can I recite the Qur'an in three nights? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you have the strength (then recite it)." He said that he used to recite it like this until he passed away.
