Hadith 60
عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا حَسَدَ إِلا فِي اثْنَتَيْنِ : رَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ مَالا فَسَلَّطَهُ عَلَى هَلَكَتِهِ فِي حَقٍّ، وَرَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ حِكْمَةً فَهُوَ يَقْضِي بِهَا وَيُعَلِّمُهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Envy is only (allowed) towards two persons: one is the man whom Allah has given wealth and granted him the ability to spend it in the right way, and the other is the man whom Allah has granted wisdom, so he judges with it and teaches it (to others).”
