Hadith 47
عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : " مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ مَجْلِسًا لَمْ يَذْكُرُوا فِيهِ اللَّهَ إِلا كَانَ عَلَيْهِمْ تِرَةً، وَمَا مَشَى أَحَدٌ مَمْشًى لَمْ يَذْكُرِ اللَّهَ فِيهِ وَيُصَلِّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلا كَانَ عَلَيْهِمْ تِرَةً " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whenever people sit in a gathering and do not remember Allah in it, then surely that gathering will be a source of regret and remorse for them. And whoever walks even a little and neither remembers Allah nor sends blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then this (walking) too will certainly be a cause of regret and remorse for him.”
