Hadith 45
عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الأَغَرِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : " مَا اجْتَمَعَ قَوْمٌ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ إِلا حَفَّتْهُمُ الْمَلائِكَةُ، وَتَنَزَّلَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّكِينَةُ، وَتَغَشَّتْهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ، وَذَكَرَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa‘id (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrate from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: “Whenever people gather together to remember Allah, the angels surely surround them, tranquility descends upon them, mercy envelops them, and Allah mentions them among those who are with Him.” That is, the angels.
