Hadith 23
عَنِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ، نا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ جُنْدَبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ سُفْيَانَ بْنَ عَوْفٍ الْقَارِي، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ، وَنَحْنُ عِنْدَهُ : " طُوبَى لِلْغُرَبَاءِ، طُوبَى لِلْغُرَبَاءِ "، فَقِيلَ : وَمَنِ الْغُرَبَاءُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " نَاسٌ صَالِحُونَ قَلِيلٌ فِي نَاسِ سَوْءٍ كَثِيرٍ، مَنْ يَعْصِيهِمْ أَكْثَرُ مِمَّنْ يُطِيعُهُمْ "، وَكُنَّا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا آخَرَ حِينَ طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَقَالَ : " سَيَأْتِي نَاسٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ نُورُهُمْ كَضَوْءِ الشَّمْسِ "، قُلْنَا : وَمَنْ أُولَئِكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " فُقَرَاءُ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ الَّذِينَ يُتَّقَى بِهِمُ الْمَكَارِهُ، يَمُوتُ أَحَدُهُمْ وَحَاجَتُهُ فِي صَدْرِهِ يُحْشَرُونَ مِنْ أَقْطَارِ الأَرْضِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said one day while we were with him: “Glad tidings for the strangers, glad tidings for the strangers!” It was asked, “Who are the strangers, O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?” He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “A few righteous people who will be among many evil people; those who disobey will be more than those who obey among them.” And one day they were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), when the sun rose, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Soon, on the Day of Resurrection, some people from my Ummah will come, their light will be like the light of the sun.” We asked, “Who are those people, O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?” He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The poor emigrants, through whom people are protected from disliked things; if any one of them dies in such a state that his need remains in his heart, they will be gathered from the corners of the earth.”
