Hadith 21
عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الأَقْمَرِ، عَنْ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ، رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ : حَكَيْتُ امْرَأَةً أَوْ رَجُلا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا أُحِبُّ أَنِّي حَكَيْتُ أَحَدًا، وَإِنَّ لِي كَذَا وَكَذَا أَعْظَمَ ذَلِكَ " .
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I imitated a woman or a man in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I do not like to imitate anyone, and even if I were to have such and such, it would be considered very great."
