Hadith 11
عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، أَنَّ أَبَا ذَرٍّ، قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، الرَّجُلُ يَعْمَلُ لِلَّهِ وَيُحِبُّهُ النَّاسُ ؟ قَالَ : " تِلْكَ عَاجِلُ بُشْرَى الْمُؤْمِنِ " .
Abdullah bin Samit narrates that indeed Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! A person acts for the sake of Allah, and people love him for it? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is the hastened glad tidings for the believer."
