Hadith 10
عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَجُلا مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ : طَلْحَةُ، قَالَ : قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّ لِي جَارَيْنِ فَإِلَى أَيِّهِمَا أُهْدِي ؟ قَالَ : " إِلَى أَقْرَبِهِمَا مِنْكِ بَابًا " .
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Indeed, I have two neighbors; to which of them should I give a gift? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "To the one whose door is closer to you."
