عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ شَغَافٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، قَالَ : جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ : مَا الصُّورُ ؟ فَقَالَ : " قَرْنٌ يُنْفَخُ بِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that a Bedouin came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked: "What is the Sur?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "It is a horn in which it will be blown."
