Hadith 6

عَنِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَالِمٍ الْجَيْشَانِيَّ، أَتَى أَبَا أُمَيَّةَ فِي مَنْزِلِهِ، فَقَالَ : إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ، يَقُولُ : إِنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ : " إِذَا أَحَبَّ أَحَدُكُمْ صَاحِبَهُ فَلْيَأْتِهِ فِي مَنْزِلِهِ فَيُخْبِرْهُ أَنَّهُ يُحِبُّهُ لِلَّهِ "، فَقَدْ جِئْتُكَ فِي مَنْزِلِكَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say, "When any one of you loves his companion, he should go to him, to his house, and inform him that indeed he loves him for the sake of Allah. So I (Abu Salim Jaishani) have come to you (Abu Umayyah) in your house for this very reason."
