Hadith 56

عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الأَحْوَصِ مَوْلَى بَنِي كَثِيرٍ، يُحَدِّثُنَا فِي مَجْلِسِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، وَابْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ جَالِسٌ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا ذَرٍّ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا يَزَالُ اللَّهُ مُقْبِلا عَلَى الْعَبْدِ مَا لَمْ يَلْتَفِتْ، فَإِذَا صَرَفَ وَجْهَهُ انْصَرَفَ عَنْهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah remains attentive to His servant as long as he does not turn away (with distraction) in prayer. But when he turns his face away, He also turns away from him."
