Hadith 46

قَالَ : وَجَدْتُ الزُّبَيْرَ أَيْضًا، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَتَكَلَّمُ بِالْكَلِمَةِ يُضْحِكُ بِهَا جُلَسَاءَهُ، يَهْوِي بِهَا مِنْ أَبْعَدِ مِنَ الثُّرَيَّا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that indeed the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever says something to make his companions laugh, because of that he falls (into Hell) farther than Thurayya (the Pleiades)."
