Hadith 263

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with both of them), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, before the Day of Resurrection there will be such tribulations as if they are pieces of a dark night. A man will be a believer in the morning and a disbeliever in the evening, and in the evening he will be a believer and in the morning a disbeliever. People will sell their share (of religion) for a small portion of worldly goods, or (he said) for worldly goods."
