عَنْ فِطْرٍ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ صُبَيْحٍ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ : انْطَلَقَ بِي أَبِي إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيُشْهِدَهُ عَلَى عَطِيَّةٍ أَعْطَانِيهَا، قَالَ : " هَلْ لَكَ بَنُونَ سِوَاهُ ؟ " قَالَ : نَعَمْ، قَالَ : " سَوِّ بَيْنَهُمْ " .
Sayyiduna Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrated, and he was delivering a sermon: My father took me to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) so that he could make him a witness to the gift he had given me. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Do you have any other sons besides him?” He replied: Yes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Treat them equally.”
