Hadith 17

عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ : " وَيْلٌ لِمَنْ يُحَدِّثُ فَيَكْذِبُ لِيُضْحِكَ بِهِ الْقَوْمَ، وَيْلٌ لَهُ، وَيْلٌ لَهُ، وَيْلٌ لَهُ " .
Bahz narrates from his father Hakim, and he from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Woe to the person who speaks and lies in order to make people laugh with it; woe to him, woe to him.”
