Hadith 148

عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ غَالِبٍ التَّمَّارِ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ وَكَانَ آخِذَ الدِّرْهَمَيْنِ عَلَى عَهْدِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : " الأَصَابِعُ سَوَاءٌ "، قُلْتُ لِغَالِبٍ التَّمَّارِ : فِي كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ عَشْرٌ ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The fingers are equal." I said to Ghalib Tammar, "Is it ten camels in compensation for each finger?" He said: "Yes."
