Hadith 114

عَنْ هِشَامٍ، سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ يَذْكُرُ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةً قَدْ دَعَا بِهَا، وَإِنِّي اسْتَخْبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, for every prophet there is a supplication which is accepted, and surely he has already supplicated with it, and indeed I have kept my supplication hidden for the intercession of my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection."
