باب رَغِمَ أَنْفُ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ أَبَوَيْهِ أَوْ أَحَدَهُمَا عِنْدَ الْكِبَرِ فَلَمْ يَدْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ:
Chapter: The Disgrace Of One Whose Parents, One Or Both Of Them, Reach Old Age During His Lifetime, And He Does Not Enter Paradise
Hadith 2551
حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : رَغِمَ أَنْفُ ، ثُمَّ رَغِمَ أَنْفُ ، ثُمَّ رَغِمَ أَنْفُ ، قِيلَ : مَنْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ أَبَوَيْهِ عِنْدَ الْكِبَرِ أَحَدَهُمَا أَوْ كِلَيْهِمَا فَلَمْ يَدْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying: Let him be humbled into dust; let him be humbled into dust. It was said: Allah's Messenger, who is he? He said: He who sees either of his parents during their old age or he sees both of them, but he does not enter Paradise.
Hadith 2551
حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : رَغِمَ أَنْفُهُ ، ثُمَّ رَغِمَ أَنْفُهُ ، ثُمَّ رَغِمَ أَنْفُهُ ، قِيلَ : مَنْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ وَالِدَيْهِ عِنْدَ الْكِبَرِ أَحَدَهُمَا أَوْ كِلَيْهِمَا ، ثُمَّ لَمْ يَدْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Let him be humbled, let him be humbled. It was said: Allah's Messenger, who is he? He said. He who finds his parents in old age, either one or both of them, and does not enter Paradise.
Hadith 2551
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بِلَالٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي سُهَيْلٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : رَغِمَ أَنْفُهُ ، ثَلَاثًا ، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Let him be humbled thrice, and the rest of the hadith is the same.
