باب مِنْ فَضَائِلِ الأَنْصَارِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُمْ:
Chapter: The Virtues Of The Ansar (RA)
Hadith 2506
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْأَنْصَارِ ، وَلِأَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ ، وَأَبْنَاءِ أَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ " .
Zaid bin Arqam reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: O Allah,, grant forgiveness to the Ansar, the offspring of the Ansar and the offspring of the offspring of the Ansar.
Hadith 2506
وحَدَّثَنِيهِ يَحْيَي بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْحَارِثِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ .
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Shulba with the same chain of transmitters.
Hadith 2507
حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مَعْنٍ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، أَنَّ أَنَسًا حَدَّثَهُ ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَغْفَرَ لِلْأَنْصَارِ ، قَالَ : وَأَحْسِبُهُ ، قَالَ : وَلِذَرَارِيِّ الْأَنْصَارِ ، وَلِمَوَالِي الْأَنْصَارِ ، لَا أَشُكُّ فِيهِ .
Anas reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sought forgiveness for the Ansar and he said: I think (he also sought forgiveness) for the children of the Ansar and the slaves and the freed men of the Ansar. I have no doubt about it.
Hadith 2508
حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ جَمِيعًا ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ ، وَاللَّفْظُ لِزُهَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ صُهَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، " أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى صِبْيَانًا وَنِسَاءً مُقْبِلِينَ مِنْ عُرْسٍ ، فَقَامَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُمْثِلًا ، فَقَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتُمْ مِنْ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَيَّ ، اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتُمْ مِنْ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَيَّ يَعْنِي الْأَنْصَارَ " .
Anas reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saw children and women of the Ansar coming back from a wedding feast. Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) stood up motionless (as a mark of respect) and said: O Allah, (bear witness) (and addressing the Ansar), said: You are dearest to me amongst people, (and said: O Allah (bear witness) (and addressing the Ansar), said: You are dearest to me amongst people. And he meant Ansar.
Hadith 2509
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ جَمِيعًا ، عَنْ غُنْدَرٍ ، قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : فَخَلَا بِهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَقَالَ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّكُمْ لَأَحَبُّ النَّاسِ إِلَيَّ ، ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ " .
Anas bin Malik (RA) reported that a woman from the Ansar came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) stood aside with her and said: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, you are dearest to me amongst the people. He repeated it thrice.
Hadith 2509
وحَدَّثَنِيهِ يَحْيَي بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ، كِلَاهُمَا ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ .
This hadith has been reported on the authority of Shu'bah with the same chain of transmitters.
Hadith 2510
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، وَاللَّفْظُ لِابْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَر ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ الْأَنْصَارَ كَرِشِي وَعَيْبَتِي ، وَإِنَّ النَّاسَ سَيَكْثُرُونَ وَيَقِلُّونَ ، فَاقْبَلُوا مِنْ مُحْسِنِهِمْ ، وَاعْفُوا عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ " .
Anas bin Malik (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: The Ansar are my family and my trusted friends. and the people would increase in number whereas they (the Ansar) would become less and less, so appreciate the deeds of those from amongst them who do good and overlook their failings.
