باب فَضَائِلِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا:
Chapter: The Virtues Of Abdullah Bin Ja'far (RA)
Hadith 2427
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ لِابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ : " أَتَذْكُرُ إِذْ تَلَقَّيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَا ، وَأَنْتَ ، وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، فَحَمَلَنَا وَتَرَكَكَ " .
Abdullah bin Abu Mulaikah reported that'Abdullah bin Jafar said to Ibn Zubair: Do you remember (the occasion) when we three (i. e. I, you and ibn 'Abbas) met Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and he mounted us (on his camel) but left you? He said: Yes.
Hadith 2427
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ ، بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ ، وَإِسْنَادِهِ .
This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Habib bin Ash-Shahid.
Hadith 2428
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَي بْنُ يَحْيَي ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَاللَّفْظُ لِيَحْيَي ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : حَدَّثَنَا ، وقَالَ يَحْيَي : أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ ، عَنْ مُوَرِّقٍ الْعِجْلِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ تُلُقِّيَ بِصِبْيَانِ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ ، قَالَ : وَإِنَّهُ قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ ، فَسُبِقَ بِي إِلَيْهِ فَحَمَلَنِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ جِيءَ بِأَحَدِ ابْنَيْ فَاطِمَةَ ، فَأَرْدَفَهُ خَلْفَهُ ، قَالَ : فَأُدْخِلْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ ثَلَاثَةً عَلَى دَابَّةٍ " .
Abdullah bin Ja'far reported that when Allah's Messenger (may peace be, upon him) came back from a journey, the children of his family used to accord him welcome. It was in this way that once he came back from a journey and I went to him first of all. He mounted me before him. Then there came one of the two sons of Fatima and he mounted him behind him and this is how we three entered Madinah riding on a beast.
Hadith 2428
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُوَرِّقٌ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ تُلُقِّيَ بِنَا ، قَالَ : فَتُلُقِّيَ بِي وَبِالْحَسَنِ ، أَوْ بِالْحُسَيْنِ ، قَالَ : فَحَمَلَ أَحَدَنَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْه وَالْآخَرَ خَلْفَهُ ، حَتَّى دَخَلْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ " .
Abdullah bin Ja'a'far reported that when Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came back from a journey he met us. Once he met me, Hasan or Husain, and he mounted one of us before him and the other one behind him until we entered Madinah.
Hadith 2429
حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ مَوْلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : " أَرْدَفَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ خَلْفَهُ ، فَأَسَرَّ إِلَيَّ حَدِيثًا لَا أُحَدِّثُ بِهِ أَحَدًا مِنَ النَّاسِ " .
Abdullah bin Ja'far reported that one day Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) mounted me behind him and narrated to me something in secret which I would narrate to none amongst people.
