باب النَّهْيِ عَنْ قَتْلِ النَّمْلِ:
Chapter: The Prohibition Of Killing Ants
Hadith 2241
حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ ، وَحَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَي ، قالا : أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، وأبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عن رسول الله صلى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنَّ نَمْلَةً قَرَصَتْ نَبِيًّا مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ ، فَأَمَرَ بِقَرْيَةِ النَّمْلِ ، فَأُحْرِقَتْ ، فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ أَفِي أَنْ قَرَصَتْكَ نَمْلَةٌ أَهْلَكْتَ أُمَّةً مِنَ الْأُمَمِ تُسَبِّحُ " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: An ant had bitten a Prophet (ﷺ) (one amongst the earlier Prophets) and he ordered that the colony of the ants should be burnt. And Allah revealed to him: "Because of an ant's bite you have burnt a community from amongst the communities which sings My glory."
Hadith 2241
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحِزَامِيَّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " نَزَلَ نَبِيٌّ مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ ، فَلَدَغَتْهُ نَمْلَةٌ ، فَأَمَرَ بِجِهَازِهِ فَأُخْرِجَ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِهَا ، فَأُحْرِقَتْ فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ فَهَلَّا نَمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: An Apostle (ﷺ) from amongst the Apostles of Allah encamped under a tree, and an ant bit him, and he commanded his belongings to be removed from underneath the tree. He then commanded and it was burnt, and Allah revealed to him: "Why was one ant (which had bitten you) not killed?"
Hadith 2241
وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ ، قال : هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ، عن رسول الله صلى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا ، وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " نَزَلَ نَبِيٌّ مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ ، فَلَدَغَتْهُ نَمْلَةٌ فَأَمَرَ بِجِهَازِهِ ، فَأُخْرِجَ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا وَأَمَرَ بِهَا فَأُحْرِقَتْ فِي النَّارِ ، قَالَ فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ فَهَلَّا نَمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported so many ahadith and one of them was this that Allah' Messenger (ﷺ) said: When an Apostle (ﷺ) from amongst the Apostles of Allah came to sit under a tree an ant bit him. He commanded his luggage to be removed from under the tree and he commanded it to be burnt in the fire and Allah revealed to him: "Why was one ant (which had bitten you) not killed (and why did you burn the others)?
