'Abdullah bin Sa'id reported: The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) led us in the morning prayer in Makkah and began Sarat al-Mu'minin (xxiii) but when he came to the mention of Moses (ؑ) and Aaron (verse. 45) or to the mention of Jesus (verse 50), a cough got the better of him, and he bowed. 'Abdullah bin Sa'ib was present there, and in the hadith narrated by Abdul Razzaq (the words are): He cut short (the recitation) and bowed.

(Upon this) she remarked: O my son, you reminded me by the recitation of this surah (the fact) that it was the last surah that I heard from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and he recited it in the evening prayer.
