باب الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ مَنْ تَيَقَّنَ الطَّهَارَةَ ثُمَّ شَكَّ فِي الْحَدَثِ فَلَهُ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ بِطَهَارَتِهِ تِلْكَ:
Chapter: Evidence that if a person is certain that he is in a state of purity, then he doubts whether he has committed hadith (broken his wudu’), then he prays with his purity like that
Hadith 361
وحَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ جَمِيعًا ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ ، قَالَ عَمْرٌو ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، وَعَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ ، " شُكِيَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، الرَّجُلُ يُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ ، أَنَّهُ يَجِدُ الشَّيْءَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ ، قَالَ : لَا يَنْصَرِفُ حَتَّى يَسْمَعَ صَوْتًا ، أَوْ يَجِدَ رِيحًا " ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ فِي رِوَايَتِهِمَا ، هُوَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ .
'Abbad bin Tamim reported from his uncle that a person made a complaint to the Apostle (ﷺ) that he entertained (doubt) as if something had happened to him breaking his ablution. He (the Holy Prophet) said: He should not return (from prayer) unless he hears a sound or perceives a smell (of passing wind). Abu Bakr (RA) and Zuhair bin Harb have pointed out in their narrations that it was 'Abdullah bin Zaid.
Hadith 362
وحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا وَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي بَطْنِهِ شَيْئًا ، فَأَشْكَلَ عَلَيْهِ ، أَخَرَجَ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ ، أَمْ لَا ، فَلَا يَخْرُجَنَّ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ ، حَتَّى يَسْمَعَ صَوْتًا ، أَوْ يَجِدَ رِيحًا " .
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: If any one of you has pain in his abdomen, but is doubtful whether or not anything has issued from him, be should not leave the mosque unless he hears a sound or perceives a smell.
