Hadith 872

وحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أُخْتٍ لِعَمْرَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " أَخَذْتُ ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ مِنْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ، وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ بِهَا عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ " .
'Amrah daughter of Abdul Rahman reported on the authority of the sister of Amra, I memorised (surah) Qaf Surah "By the glorious Qur'an" from the mouth of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on Friday for he recited it on the pulpit on-every Friday."
