Hadith 844

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ رُمْحٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ عَلَى الْمِنْبَر : " مَنْ جَاءَ مِنْكُمُ الْجُمُعَةَ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ " .
'Abdullah bin 'Umar (RA) is reported to have said that The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) (may peace be up on him) was standing on the pulpit when he said this: He who comes for Jumu'a he should take a bath.
