Abu Hurairah (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.

Benefits and Issues:
Gharqad is a thorny tree,
which is common in the region of Bayt al-Maqdis,
the graveyard of the people of Madinah is called Baqi‘ al-Gharqad,
because this tree was also present there and it was cut down.

Hadith Commentary:
➊
In the aforementioned two hadiths, the prophecy of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is mentioned, which will be manifested at the time of the descent of ‘Isa (alayhis salam).
At that time, all the Jews will support the False Messiah (al-Masih al-Dajjal), and ‘Isa (alayhis salam) will kill the Dajjal.
And he will also wipe the Jews from the face of the earth.
➋
The time for fighting the Jews has not yet arrived.
We will explain its details in the future, insha’Allah ta‘ala.
