باب الْمَشْيُ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ تُمْحَى بِهِ الْخَطَايَا وَتُرْفَعُ بِهِ الدَّرَجَاتُ:Chapter: Walking to prayer erases sins and raises one in status
وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَن أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَثَلُ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسِ ، كَمَثَلِ نَهْرٍ جَارٍ غَمْرٍ عَلَى بَابِ أَحَدِكُمْ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْهُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ خَمْسَ مَرَّاتٍ " ، قَالَ : قَالَ الْحَسَنُ : وَمَا يُبْقِي ذَلِكَ مِنَ الدَّرَنِ .
Jabir bin 'Abdullah reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The similitude of five prayers is like an overflowing river passing by the gate of one of you in which he washes five times daily Hasan said: No filthiness can remain on him.
