باب اسْتِحْبَابِ التَّبْكِيرِ بِالصُّبْحِ فِي أَوَّلِ وَقْتِهَا وَهُوَ التَّغْلِيسُ وَبَيَانِ قَدْرِ الْقِرَاءَةِ فِيهَا:
Chapter: It is recommended to pray Subh early, at the beginning of its time, when it is still dark; and the length of recitation therein
Hadith 645
This hadith is listed as number 1459 in Maktaba Shamila
وحَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ ، وَإِسْحَاق بْنُ مُوسَى الأَنْصَارِيُّ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، لَيُصَلِّي الصُّبْحَ ، فَيَنْصَرِفُ النِّسَاءُ ، مُتَلَفِّعَاتٍ بِمُرُوطِهِنَّ ، مَا يُعْرَفْنَ مِنَ الْغَلَسِ " ، وَقَالَ الأَنْصَارِيُّ فِي رِوَايَتِهِ : مُتَلَفِّفَاتٍ .
'A'isha reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to observe the morning prayer, and the women would go back wrapped in their mantles being unrecognisable because of the darkness before dawn. (Ishaq bin Musa) al-Ansari (one of the transmitters in this chain of narration) narrated "wrapped" (only) in his narration. (No mention was made of mantles.)
