Hadith 611

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ ، قَالَ عَمْرٌو : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، " يُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ وَالشَّمْسُ طَالِعَةٌ فِي حُجْرَتِي ، لَمْ يَفِئْ الْفَيْءُ بَعْدُ " ، وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : لَمْ يَظْهَرِ الْفَيْءُ بَعْدُ .
'A'isha, the wife of the Apostle (ﷺ) , said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said the afternoon prayer (at the time) when the sun shone in her apartment and its shadow did not extend beyond her apartment.
